Dr. Hugo Campos has been transforming smiles as an Orthodontist for over 20 years. A proud Red Sox and Patriots fan, he brings the same passion and dedication he has for his teams into his work with patients. Fluent in Spanish and English—and currently learning Portuguese to better serve his community—Dr. Campos is committed to making every patient feel understood and cared for.
He provides comprehensive orthodontic treatment using both traditional braces and advanced techniques, such as aligners and self-ligating braces. Dr. Campos also places a strong emphasis on Interceptive Orthodontics, helping children address early malocclusions to prevent future complications. Believing in the powerful role a smile plays in building confidence, he founded the Anti-Bullying Orthodontic Program, which each year provides one deserving child in the community with free, comprehensive orthodontic treatment.
When you step into his operatory, you’ll be welcomed into a happy, uplifting environment where Dr. Campos and his two outstanding dental assistants, Sandra and Andrea (affectionately known as “Sandrea”), make every patient feel like a VIP, because that’s exactly who you are to them.
Together with his wife, Dr. Belussi, Dr. Campos also traveled to Luweero, Uganda, where they volunteered their time and expertise to provide dental treatment to underserved communities—a reflection of their deep commitment to giving back.
Beyond his private practice, Dr. Campos serves as Interim Chair of Diagnostic Sciences and the Division Director of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and as volunteer faculty in the Department of Orthodontics at Harvard School of Dental Medicine. He is also an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Massachusetts Dental Society (MDS), American Association of Orthodontics (AAO), and American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology (AAOMR), keeping him at the forefront of innovations in patient care.
Dr. Campos’s ultimate goal is to give each patient a smile that inspires confidence, joy, and lasting happiness.
Dr. Mirian Belussi-Campos

Dr. Mirian Belussi-Campos is a compassionate and skilled General Dentist at Cochituate Smile Center with more than 20 years of experience in dental implants and aesthetic dentistry. She is dedicated to treating every patient as if they were her own family, always seeking the best treatment options with empathy, precision, and genuine care.
Dr. Belussi holds a prestigious fellowship in Implant Dentistry from Tufts University, where she also serves as a faculty member in the Department of Operative Dentistry. Teaching at Tufts keeps her at the forefront of restorative and aesthetic techniques, ensuring her patients benefit from the latest advances in modern dentistry. Her expertise in Implant Dentistry and Smile Design allows her to masterfully reconstruct smiles and restore both function and confidence with solutions that look and feel natural.
Passionate about giving back, Dr. Belussi and her husband, Dr. Campos, traveled to Luweero, Uganda, where they provided essential dental treatment to the local community. This experience reflects her deep commitment to serving others and extending care beyond the dental chair.

Outside of dentistry, she loves cooking, traveling, and spending time with her family. These personal passions, combined with her professional dedication, create an environment where patients feel welcomed, understood, and valued from the very first visit.
